midterm.project
i think that the midterm project was interesting…i feel that out of all the projects so far this one connected best with the material in the book. it was very difficult for me to make and it didn’t come out exactly how i had imagined it to. Overall though i liked the final product and listening to the observations that other people had about Second Life and what they feel it is in regards to the everyday. i felt that this quote from the book summed up what i think of Second Life:
“Reality changes, in order to represent it, modes of representation must also change.”
Second Life, to me, is our world modernizing and find different ways to express itself. There are crimes in the program but I think as our society continues to develop programs like Second Life will evolve, either eliminating crimes or creating more.
